About Mamma Mia

Two Seadoo Spark jet skis ride with Mamma Mia, each with two seats, so a pair of riders can be out on the water together and each can take a passenger along. They are the loudest members of a toy collection that sets the tone aboard this 131ft (40m) Maiora superyacht, built in 2008 and refitted from end to end in 2022, with an interior that is contemporary and made to order.

Comfort under way

Zero-speed stabilisers steady her at anchor as well as on passage, which means less roll whether she is moving or lying still. She cruises at 14 knots and has 18 in hand, and July and August are her peak months.

On deck

The sundeck holds a wet bar, a wide stretch of sunbathing space and a table for eating in the open air, so a drink, the sun and a meal are all had without leaving that deck. An aft deck and a foredeck add two more places outdoors, a swim platform puts guests a step from the sea, and inside a main saloon and a dining area give the meals an indoor home as well.

Water toys

Beyond the jet skis, three Seabobs travel with her, so three guests can have them at the same time. Two Jobe stand-up paddleboards go out as a pair, the water-ski set, monoski and wakeboard are sized for adults, and two towable tubes and a towable sofa are there to be pulled along behind a boat, with inflatable toys and snorkelling equipment for looking down at the seabed. A 14ft Zodiac tender with a Yamaha outboard carries six guests, so six can go ashore in a single trip.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Lefkada in Greece, and among the thirty yachts based there she is the second longest. From Lefkada she cruises the Ionian Sea and the Aegean, the Cyclades within it, across Greece and on to Turkey, so guests have two seas and two countries to choose between.

Accommodation and crew

Six cabins sleep twelve guests – a king bed, two queens, two twin cabins and two pullman berths – and the owner's suite spans her full beam on the main deck. A crew of seven runs her and looks after the twelve.

Charter notes

Mamma Mia suits a family or two couples, and she is available to hire by the week or for three days. When a party outgrows her twelve berths she can host thirty guests for an event, so a celebration can come aboard as well as a week away.
