Irisha Superyacht

Eighteen guests can be aboard Irisha by day, ten of them staying the night, and her beach club opens her to the sea at the waterline, so the water is a step away for a party of that size. Harrison Eidsgaard drew the exterior of this 167ft (51m) superyacht, and Heesen, who built her in 2018, designed the interior in-house.

Accommodation and crew

Ten guests sleep in her five cabins, and nine crew sail with them, which comes to nearly a crew member apiece. A cinema with video on demand and satellite television gives the party its films, and a conference room gives it a table to meet around.

Comfort under way

Zero-speed stabilisers damp her roll at anchor as much as on passage, and Irisha cruises at 15 knots with 25 in hand when there is distance to cover – July and August are the two months when her season is at its height.

On deck

A deck jacuzzi puts hot water in the open air, and she carries a spa and a sauna as well, so heat and treatment are on board rather than something to seek ashore.

Water toys

A Wave Runner gives a single rider a fast run across the water, a wakeboard is towed behind, and snorkelling gear is aboard for the water beneath her hull. Her beach tender carries the party ashore and back.

Where she cruises

Irisha is the longest of the five yachts that call Genoa, in Italy, their home port, and her cruising covers Italy and Malta, so the water she works belongs to two countries rather than a single stretch of coast.

Charter notes

She suits two couples or a family, and she is booked by the week or for a shorter hire, so a first stay aboard need not run to a full week.
