Blue Magic Superyacht

Scuba diving equipment is part of what Blue Magic carries, so guests who dive can keep diving through the charter rather than leave it behind at home, and snorkelling gear goes with it for anyone who would rather stay near the surface. She is a 157ft (48m) Heesen superyacht, built in 1998 and refitted in 2017, with an exterior from Mulder Design and an interior by Ivana Porfiri.

Where she cruises

Her home port is on the Turkish Riviera and her cruising stays within Turkey, so every anchorage is on Turkey's coast, and July and August sit at the centre of her season.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep twelve guests, and a crew of nine looks after them, which means the crew is nearly as large as the guest party.

Comfort under way

Blue Magic cruises at 17 knots with 27 knots available, and her stabilisers are zero speed units that work at anchor as well as under way, so she lies quiet when stopped and steady when moving.

On deck

The deck jacuzzi puts a hot soak outdoors, and she also carries a gym, a spa, a steam room and a sauna, so the days aboard have room for a workout and for warmth after time in the sea as much as for the sea itself.

Water toys

The count of toys runs to ten. Beyond the dive gear there is a Wave Runner and a Seadoo for riding, a single Flyboard, SUP boards and a kayak for paddling at an easy pace, and water skis, a wakeboard and towable toys for being pulled fast across the water, while a beach tender carries guests ashore.

Charter notes

Hire Blue Magic for two couples or for a family who dive, and by day she can host eighteen, so the group aboard need not end with those who sleep in her cabins.
