Starting Over Motor Yacht

Sixteen guests can be aboard for a day on the water, and her drop-down sides are what make room for them. Opening doors and windows, and a forward window that opens up the whole of her, let the inside and the outside read as a single space on this 68ft (21m) Galeon motor yacht, launched in 2021.

Where she cruises

Starting Over's home port is Nassau, and she works the Bahamas year-round, with January to March and December the busiest months in the Bahamas.

Accommodation and crew

Three en suite cabins sleep six guests. The master has a king bed, the VIP a queen, and the third is a twin that works well for children, with new linens and towels throughout. A crew of three looks after the six aboard, handling the cooking, the tender and the toys.

Comfort under way

She has a single hull, cruises at 24 knots and will run to 30, and she uses 65 litres of fuel an hour, so putting distance between anchorages takes little out of the day.

Inside

Light leather, wood and concealed lighting give her interior a clean, modern feel, and the large windows and overhead skylights keep it bright and airy.

Water toys

A jet ski travels with Starting Over, along with a towable tube and an inflatable island to swim out to, snorkelling gear, fishing gear and a tender for trips ashore.

Charter notes

She suits a family or a group of friends who would rather live outdoors than sit indoors. Half-day, day and three-day charters are all offered, so the hire can be sized to the group, and with sixteen allowed aboard by day the six who sleep in her cabins can bring the rest of the party out with them.
