About King Benji

A Fun Air slide runs from the bridge deck of King Benji, her top deck, down into the sea, and two tenders carry her guests ashore, a 39ft Nor-Tech and a 14ft Novurania, so two parties can land at the same time. She is a 154ft (47m) superyacht from Dunya Yachts, the only yacht of that builder in the Boatcrowd fleet, built in 2024 with an interior by Design Unlimited.

Water toys

Four Seadoo RXT 325S and four Waverunners give the group two makes of jet ski to ride, and as well as those she carries two Seabobs, two E-foils and two surfboards, with three paddleboards and two kayaks for anyone who would rather paddle. Water skis, kneeboards, a ringo and a towable banana are pulled behind a boat, an inflatable trampoline and a set of inflatable toys go into the water, and her toy count runs to sixteen.

Where she cruises

Naples in Italy is her home port, and elsewhere in Italy she reaches the Amalfi Coast, Capri and the Aeolian Islands. Farther west she works Corsica in France, the Balearic Islands of Spain and Monaco, island groups and coastlines that give her a spread of anchorages and shores for the tenders to go in to. In the Caribbean she covers the Bahamas, Antigua and Barbuda, St Lucia, St Martin and St Barths. Starlink keeps her online far from any harbour, and her busiest weeks come in December through to March and again in July and August.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep ten guests, a king bed, three doubles and a twin between them, and by day she can carry twelve. Twelve crew look after those ten guests, more crew than there are guests, which puts more than a single crew member behind each person aboard.

Comfort under way

Her stabilisers run at zero speed and under way, so she rolls less lying at anchor and holds steady when moving between grounds, and she cruises at 12 knots with 14 knots as her maximum.

On deck

A deck jacuzzi and a split plunge pool let guests sit in water without leaving the deck, while the beach club and swim platform open straight onto the sea. The sun deck gives her open air and the sky lounge a second sitting room in addition to the main saloon, Samsung TVs and a Sonos system carry film and music through her, and yoga and pilates equipment travels aboard so a session can be done on the yacht.

Charter notes

Booked as a week's charter or a three-day hire, King Benji suits two couples or a family, and for a party of divers the point of her is that scuba diving comes with the boat, alongside snorkelling, Shimano trolling reels, Hawaiian slings and a spearfishing slide, so the diving and the fishing are already aboard when the week begins.
