Evexias I Superyacht

Francesco Paszkowski drew both the exterior and the interior of Evexias I, a 108ft (33m) Custom Line superyacht arranged around warm-water cruising, with awnings that pull across each deck so every level of her has shade as well as sun.

Water toys

Her Valhalla V-37 chase tender has a garage of its own and does the running about that a week's charter asks for: trolling and bottom fishing with the gear she carries for both, snorkelling trips away from the anchorage, and a picnic carried ashore to a beach. Two Seadoo GTR 230 jet skis mean a pair can ride together, and they tie up to a dock built into the inflatable swimming platform, while two paddleboards, a Jellyfish Pool and a drone travel with her as well.

Where she cruises

Tortola in the British Virgin Islands is the home port of Evexias I, and from there she works the USVI, St Martin, St Barths and Anguilla. Her range runs north to the Turks and Caicos and the Bahamas, whose sandbars give shallow water to swim from. Southward she reaches Antigua and Barbuda, St Kitts and Nevis, the Grenadines and Grenada.

Accommodation and crew

Eight guests sleep aboard, and she takes no more than those eight by day, with her peak months falling in December and from January to March. Five cabins hold them: a master suite spanning the full beam of the main deck, a VIP, a double, a twin and a convertible twin whose beds come together as a king. A crew of five looks after that party of eight.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 17 knots with 26 available when wanted, and her fuel use is 190 litres an hour. Her stabilisers work with the anchor down as much as at speed, which takes the roll out of a night at anchor and a passage alike.

On deck

The aft deck is laid for lunch at anchor looking over the water, and the flybridge carries a second open-air table, sun loungers, seating and a wet bar. Forward, two tiers of sunpads make a sunlounge of their own, and her swim platform and a transom that opens to the sea as a beach put the water a step away for the toys and for a swim, with underwater lights for the hours after dark.

Charter notes

The hire of Evexias I suits a family or a group of friends of up to eight who dive, and she is rigged for them: scuba and snorkelling gear travels aboard in a range of sizes, so each diver in the party can be fitted from what she already carries.
