About Starburst III
Two design studios shaped Starburst III, not one: Unique Yacht Design drew her exterior lines, and H2 Yacht Design finished her interior. Bilgin delivered her in 2017 at 48 metres, and a 2019 refit kept the pairing current. A buyer notices the difference the moment they step from the exterior deck into the saloon, where the styling and the interior come from separate hands.
Build and provenance
She is a steel displacement motor yacht on a monohull, built by Bilgin and refitted in 2019, two years after her 2017 delivery. At 494 gross tons across 48 metres, Starburst III carries her volume forward into wide interior spaces rather than a longer waterline, and the refit means a buyer inherits a hull that has already had one round of updates rather than one still owing that work.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep in five cabins, with a crew of nine to look after them, close to a one-crew-per-guest ratio that keeps service attentive through a full charter or an owner's cruise.
Performance and engineering
Two 1,450 hp MTU 12V 2000 M72 engines give her a 12-knot cruise and 22 knots flat out, power built for covering distance at a steady pace rather than for outright speed.
On deck and at anchor
A beach club opens the stern to the water, and the sun deck carries a jacuzzi above it. Starburst III also carries a balcony and a gym, giving guests both an outdoor spot and somewhere to keep a routine between anchorages.
Where she lies and how to see her
Starburst III lies in Naples. We arrange viewings in person and stay with you through them, and a survey and sea trial follow once an offer is accepted. She also runs a Boatcrowd charter programme out of the Cyclades, cruising Greece, Turkey and Cyprus, so a buyer can book a week aboard and try her before deciding to own her.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
