Ulisse Motor Yacht

Refitted in 2018, Ulisse is a 2009 boat whose build and exterior lines are both Aicon's, a 75ft (23m) motor yacht with a pair of Caterpillar engines.

Water toys

Six toys come with her: a Seadoo jet ski that one rider takes out at a time, a towable banana and a tube for anyone who wants to be pulled along, water skis, a SUP board for paddling, and fishing and snorkelling gear. An inflatable Zodiac tender runs guests ashore.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Athens, Greece, and her cruising keeps to Greece, with July and August her busiest months.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight guests: a master suite with a king bed, a VIP with a queen, and two twin cabins with a pair of single beds each, every cabin with its own en suite. A crew of four, the captain among them, look after them, a crew member for every two guests, and the cooking, the daily cleaning and fresh linen are part of what they do.

Comfort under way

Zero-speed stabilisers work at anchor as well as under way, so the roll is damped whether she is moving or stopped. Ulisse cruises at 20 knots, has 27 available and burns 460 litres an hour.

On deck

A swim platform makes getting into the water easy, and the flybridge carries its own fridge, so cold drinks need no trip below. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi run throughout, and the saloon's flat screen and Bose home theatre make an evening indoors easy.

Charter notes

Ulisse suits a family or a group of friends, eight of them in beds with the crew taking care of the rest. She charters by the week, and a day's hire can carry twelve aboard, more than sleep on her overnight, so a wider group can get out on the water.
