Navetta Motor Yacht

Twelve guests can be aboard Navetta for a day on the water and eight can stay the night, and she carries three Seabobs, so three of the party can be out on them at once. She is a 67ft (21m) motor yacht by Absolute Yachts, built in 2023.

Water toys

Two SUP boards give two guests a board each to stand on, a kayak with three seats takes three paddlers, and a wakeboard and two Jobe towables are there to be towed at speed. The 12ft SUR RIB tender carries the party ashore, and there is gear aboard for snorkelling.

Where she cruises

La Spezia in Italy is her home port, and it is in July and August that her season is at its height. The Italian Riviera gives her a coast of well-known resorts and small hidden spots along it, with Portofino and the Cinque Terre among them, and Elba, Corsica and the north of Sardinia also lie within Navetta's range. On the French side she can make the Côte d'Azur, taking in Monaco, Cannes and St Tropez.

Accommodation and crew

Eight guests sleep in four cabins for the week of a charter, with a crew of two looking after them. The master suite is placed forward, with a large double bed, wardrobes for the luggage, a vanity area, a window on each side that stretches across her full beam, and an en-suite with a double sink and a large shower. The VIP has a double bed and its own bathroom, and the two twin cabins have separated beds and share a third bathroom; a twin that converts to a double lets the bed layout change with the party.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 22 knots and has 29 when she is pushed, and her Humphree fin stabilisers keep working with her stopped, so the roll is taken out of her lying at anchor as much as on passage. Bow and stern thrusters let the crew put her into a tight berth without fuss.

On deck

Teak covers her decks, and the bow deck carries a sofa, a sun lounger and a table that extends to seat more, reached along side walkways that are wide, covered and lit. The flybridge has a barbecue grill, so cooking can happen in the open air, and pillarless side windows on the main deck leave the saloon and galley with an unbroken view out.

Charter notes

Navetta is hired by the week out of Italy and suits a family or a group of friends who sleep aboard and bring others out with them for the day, and her bathing platform and Aqua Marina floating island give a party that size somewhere to be in the water as well as on deck.
