Fantastic Too Luxury Catamaran

Five cabins share Fantastic Too's lower deck, each with its own en suite, which frees the whole main deck for a saloon, galley and living space that opens to the outside. She is an 80ft (24m) luxury catamaran from Sunreef Yachts, launched in 2020, finished in white and beige with fresh coastal tones.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Quepos, and she cruises the waters of Costa Rica and Panama from there. She also operates in Ecuador, Australia and New Zealand, so a week aboard need not begin in Costa Rica.

Accommodation and crew

Eleven guests sleep aboard and twelve can be on board for a day on the water, looked after by four crew: a captain, a chef, a stewardess and a deckhand.

Comfort under way

She is built as a composite sandwich of PVC foam, vinylester, carbon and glass fibre, with carbon in the mast and boom, and her exterior was shaped to reduce windage and drag. She cruises at 8 knots and tops out at 12.

On deck

The flybridge carries a large sunbed and an alfresco dining table with seating for eleven, so the whole party can sit down together outdoors, plus a bar with a fridge, ice maker and sink. At the stern are a second outdoor table and another sunbed, with a trampoline net on the bow and a large submersible bathing platform that drops to the water.

Water toys

A 21ft Honda tender takes guests ashore, and there is a Seabob, two paddleboards so two can be out at once, kayaks, water skis and a towable donut, with snorkelling and fishing gear aboard.

Charter notes

Fantastic Too suits a family or two couples travelling as a single group, hired by the week, with December through March her busiest stretch. An outside shower at the cockpit means anyone coming out of the water can rinse off without heading below.
