Ginette Luxury Catamaran

Four sets of dive gear live aboard Ginette, with snorkelling equipment for eight, two fishing rods and spear guns, so a group who would rather be in the water than looking at it can leave all of that at home. She is a 71ft (22m) luxury catamaran from Sunreef Yachts, built in 2021.

Comfort under way

An unhurried boat, she cruises at 10 knots and tops out at 12, and air conditioning runs throughout, so the cabins stay comfortable while she is moving.

On deck

Her swim platform brings the deck down to sea level, which means swimming, snorkelling and diving all start from the boat rather than from a beach. WiFi is aboard too, so a group can stay in touch with home.

Water toys

Ginette's tender is a 17ft Smuggler Marine RIB, which handles the trips ashore. Two paddleboards give two people a slow way around an anchorage, and there is windsurfing and kitesurfing gear for anyone who would rather be pulled along by the wind.

Where she cruises

Nadi in Fiji is her home port and she keeps a second base at Auckland, so a group can join her in either port. Her cruising takes in Fiji, French Polynesia, New Zealand and Australia.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight guests overnight, and for a day on the water twelve can be aboard. Looking after them is a crew of four, which puts a crew member behind every pair of guests, and her busiest months are December, January and February.

Charter notes

She suits a family or friends who build their days around the water, with the rods and spear guns for the fishing and the crew handling the tender and the boards. Bookings run to three days as well as a full week's hire, and with dive equipment for four aboard, four of the party can be under at the same time.
