Archipelago Power Catamaran
About Archipelago
Fishing gear is among the six toys that travel with Archipelago, so a guest who would rather catch something than look at it has the means aboard. Leopard Catamarans built her in 2023, a 53ft (16m) power catamaran, and her swim platform puts anyone on deck a single step from the sea.
Where she cruises
Providenciales is her home port and the Turks and Caicos are the only waters she works, so a guest boards and cruises within a single country and the week holds no passage to another region. She runs the whole year in Turks and Caicos waters, with December through to March the stretch that forms her peak.
Accommodation and crew
Four cabins sleep eight guests overnight, and by day she can have twenty-five people aboard. Three crew look after them, so the driving, the anchoring and the runs ashore are the crew's work and never the party's.
Comfort under way
Under way she cruises at 9 knots and can make 12 when the crew asks for them, which means each move between anchorages is made at a steady pace rather than in a rush.
Water toys
A Seabob rides with Archipelago, along with a towable tube for anyone who wants to be pulled fast across the water, while her inflatable toys serve the quieter appetite for simply floating on it. Snorkelling gear opens up whatever lies beneath the surface wherever she stops, and when the party wants land underfoot the 12ft Williams tender takes them ashore and brings them back.
Charter notes
Archipelago suits a family or a group of friends of eight or fewer who want a crew to run the boat while they fish, snorkel and swim from her. She also goes out for a day or a half day, a hire that suits a party who want her crew and everything she carries without staying the night.
