Oryxa Sailing Catamaran

Twelve guests can be aboard Oryxa for the day, and that number shapes her: day charter is part of what she does, not an afterthought to her overnight work. She is a 64ft (20m) Lagoon sailing catamaran built in 2015.

Water toys

Five toys travel with her – SUP boards, water skis, towable inflatables and snorkelling gear – so the swimming, the towing and the quiet paddling are all covered without anything being brought along. A beach tender carries guests ashore and back.

Where she cruises

Her home port is on the Turkish Riviera and she cruises in Turkey, July and August her peak months.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight guests, with air conditioning through the boat and Wi-Fi aboard, so guests can stay in contact while they are away. A crew of two sails her and looks after the people on board.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 7 knots and has 13 at the top of her range, and being a catamaran she sails upright rather than heeled, which keeps moving about the deck simple for children and adults alike.

Oryxa suits a family, or friends travelling together, and her day hire lets the party grow past the number of berths aboard for a day out on the Turkish coast.
