Mare Blu Power Catamaran

Fishing gear travels with Mare Blu, a 63ft (19m) power catamaran built by Lagoon in 2018, and it puts fishing among the things guests can do aboard her.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 12 knots and will run to 16 when there is ground to cover, and her two hulls keep her level and steady through the water.

On deck

A swim platform gives her guests direct access to the sea, so getting in for a swim, and back out afterwards, asks nothing of anybody.

Water toys

Seven pieces of kit come with her: two paddleboards, which let a pair go out together, a wakeboard and a towable tube, a floating mat for lying on the water, and snorkelling gear. A 15ft Highfield tender takes guests ashore.

Where she cruises

Tortola is her home port, and she works the British Virgin Islands, with January, February, March and December her peak months.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins, each with a queen bed, sleep eight overnight, and for a day on the water she can carry twelve. The cabins are air-conditioned, and Wi-Fi aboard keeps the party connected.

Charter notes

Mare Blu suits a family or a group of friends hiring a boat together in the British Virgin Islands: a crew of two runs her, so nobody in the party carries the work of the boat.
