Azurite Sailing Catamaran

A 2023 refit brought Azurite up to date, and she sails today as a 42ft (13m) Lagoon sailing catamaran of 2018, with most of her life lived outdoors, on deck and in the water beside her.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins sleep eight guests, and for a day on the water she takes twelve aboard. Sleeping is in three doubles and a single, all air-conditioned. A crew of one sails her and looks after the group.

Comfort under way

Her cruising speed is 8 knots and her top speed 12, and as a catamaran she sails upright rather than heeled, so moving about while she is under way stays easy.

On deck

A swim platform gives a direct way into the sea and an equally simple way back aboard.

Water toys

A 12ft tender runs people ashore, and there is a paddleboard to take out under paddle power along with snorkelling gear for what lies under the boat.

Where she cruises

Azurite works out of Ibiza in Spain, her home port, and Spain is the whole of her cruising range, the busiest part of her year falling across July and August.

Charter notes

She suits a family or a group of friends hiring a small catamaran for swimming, paddling and going ashore, and because her crew handles the sailing and the tender, the group is left with the water.
