Said Sailing Catamaran

A 12ft ZAR tender travels with Said, so guests can go ashore and come back without the boat leaving its anchorage. Bali Catamarans delivered this 45ft (14m) sailing catamaran in 2022.

Comfort under way

She sails at 8 knots and 12 knots is her maximum, the pace of a boat under sail rather than a boat pushed along by engines. Air conditioning runs in the cabins and WiFi reaches aboard, so a week on her need not cut anyone off from home.

Water toys

Snorkelling gear is carried, and the swim platform makes moving between deck and sea easy, so swimming from her is a matter of stepping down and climbing back.

Where she cruises

Ibiza is her home port, and her cruising stays inside Spain rather than crossing borders; July and August are the peak of her season in Spain.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins sleep six between a queen bed and two doubles, and two crew run Said, which works out at a crew member for every three guests.

Charter notes

She suits a family or a group of friends who want the water within reach and a boat small enough to feel like their own for the week. Twelve can be aboard by day, twice the number who sleep, so a day out can hold more people than the cabins do, and the charter still comes with crew to sail her and run the tender.
