Be Happy Sailing Catamaran

Eight knots is her everyday pace, 12 knots sits in reserve, and under engine she takes 400 litres an hour. Bali Catamarans built this 40ft (12m) sailing catamaran in 2022.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins sleep eight guests, and the layout runs to a double and a pair of pullman berths. Two crew sail Be Happy and keep her running, so the boat is never the guests' job.

Comfort under way

Her two hulls give her a level, steady platform under way and at anchor. The cabins are air conditioned, and WiFi aboard keeps the group in touch with home.

On deck

The swim platform puts the sea a single step from the deck, so getting in and out of the water is easy for everybody aboard.

Water toys

A 12ft tender takes care of runs ashore, and snorkelling gear is carried for anyone who wants to see what lies under the surface.

Where she cruises

Ibiza is Be Happy's home port, and the whole of her range sits within Spain, July and August being her busiest months for hire.

Charter notes

For a family or a group of friends, she makes sense as a compact catamaran for a week in Spain: eight sleep aboard on charter, and twelve can be on deck for a day on the water, so a larger party than the eight in the cabins can share the swimming.
