Aquilla Sunrise Power Catamaran

Fishing gear travels with Aquilla Sunrise, so time spent with a line in the water is part of what she carries rather than something to arrange ashore. She is a 44ft (13m) Aquila power catamaran, built in 2018.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Pattaya and she works year-round in Thailand, her busiest months falling in December, January, February and March.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins, each with a double bed, sleep six guests, and air conditioning keeps them cool through the night. Four crew run her and look after those six, so nobody in the party is left waiting for anything.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 16 knots with 20 available at the top end, and her catamaran hull gives her a wide, level platform to move on.

On deck

A swim platform brings guests down to sea level, which makes getting into the water and back out again a simple matter rather than a manoeuvre.

Water toys

A 10ft tender handles trips ashore, and snorkelling equipment is kept aboard so the water alongside her can be looked at as well as swum in.

Charter notes

She suits a family or a group of friends, and full-day and half-day hire are both offered, with room for 20 aboard by day against the six who stay the night.
