Shasa Power Boat

Shasa carries a fish finder and a depth finder alongside her GPS, so fishing aboard her begins with knowing what is under the hull rather than guessing at it. She is a 55ft (18m) Sunseeker power boat, built in 2015 and refitted in 2019.

Water toys

Snorkelling and diving gear take guests under the surface, a kayak covers the same water at a slower pace, and water skis and a jet ski are there for speed. A floating mattress stays in the water for anyone who would rather drift, a Seabob can be arranged on request, and her tender makes the trip ashore.

Where she cruises

Shasa keeps her home port at Fajardo in Puerto Rico, and Puerto Rico is also the whole of her cruising ground, with December through March the peak months. Her season runs right through the year, so no part of the calendar is closed to her.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins sleep five guests overnight. The beds are a queen and a pair of twins, the cabins are air-conditioned, and Wi-Fi reaches through the boat. A crew of two runs her.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 24 knots and will run to 36, so a bay further along the shore costs little of the day to reach.

On deck

A swim platform puts guests straight into the water and an outdoor shower takes the salt off afterwards. A grill handles cooking in the open air, and a fresh water maker keeps her tanks full without a run back to the dock.

Charter notes

Shasa suits a family or a group of friends, and she works as a half-day, day or three-day charter, private events included. Twelve guests can be aboard for a day on the water, so friends can join a family in the hire without a second boat.
