Maoro Superyacht

Sunseeker drew both the exterior and the interior of Maoro as well as building her, so the outside and the inside of this superyacht were shaped by the same yard. She has carried a different name in her past, was built in 2013 and refitted in 2021, and measures 113ft (35m).

Comfort under way

Her stabilisers run at zero speed and on passage alike, so the roll is reduced when she lies stopped in a bay and again when she is moving. Cruising at 17 knots, with 23 knots at the top, she covers open water quickly, and the peak of her year falls in July and August.

On deck

A jacuzzi on the deck gives guests warm water to sit in out in the open air, and her swim platform brings the sea to step height, so getting in for a swim and climbing back out is easy.

Water toys

Eight toys travel with her. Two jet skis put two riders on the water at speed, two Seabobs and two SUP boards can go out at the same time, and a water ski, a wakeboard and a towable banana are there for being pulled along behind. Fishing and snorkelling gear complete the set, so guests who want the sea at a slower pace are looked after as well as those who want it fast.

Where she cruises

Split in Croatia is her home port, and she covers Croatia, Italy, France and Monaco, four Mediterranean coastlines within her range, which gives a group a choice of shore for their time aboard.

Accommodation and crew

Ten guests sleep aboard in five cabins, three of them fitted with a double bed and two with twin beds, and twelve can be aboard by day. A crew of five run Maoro and look after the guests.

Charter notes

Maoro suits two couples travelling together or a family. She goes out by the week, and a three-day hire is the shortest she takes, so a group with less time still gets her crew and her cabins for a shorter stay.
