Primus Motor Yacht

An asymmetric layout is what makes Primus her own, freeing interior volume and pouring daylight through the panoramic windows of her main-deck saloon, so the room a guest sits in is both larger and brighter for it. She is a Sanlorenzo SL96A of 96ft (29m), a motor yacht with a raised pilothouse and a GRP planing hull, delivered new in 2025, and her interior is kept to neutral tones and refined finishes.

On deck

Outdoor living is spread across three places. The aft deck carries a seating area whose adjustable table turns it into a dining space, so the same seating does for lounging and for eating in the open air. The flybridge has a lounge and dining area of its own, the foredeck is given over to a sun area, and a swim platform puts the water within a step.

Water toys

Her 12ft ABJET tender runs on an inboard Rotax engine and is what takes the party ashore. A single Yamaha VX Cruiser HO jet ski gives one rider a fast ride, a Seabob travels with it, and two SUP boards mean two can paddle at the same time; water skis and a towing donut are there for anyone who wants pulling, and masks and fins go in the water for snorkelling.

Where she cruises

Primus keeps her home port at Trogir, in Marina Baotic in the Split area of Croatia, and she is the longest of the eleven yachts based there. She cruises Croatia and Montenegro, so a guest has the coastline of two countries within her range.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep eleven: three queen beds, single beds in the twin and the convertible cabin, and a pullman. The master suite sits forward on the main deck, and the lower deck holds two double cabins, the convertible cabin and a twin that carries the pullman for the eleventh guest. A crew of five looks after those eleven, and by day she can take twelve aboard, with July and August the months that make up her peak.

Comfort under way

Twin MTU engines push her planing hull to 28 knots, with 22 knots her cruising speed, and at that pace she burns 720 litres of fuel an hour, a figure a guest can set against any plan to cover distance. Stabilisers work both at anchor and under way, so she rolls less lying still and less on passage.

Charter notes

Primus suits two couples travelling together or a family, up to eleven of them, and her owner offers her on charter by the week or for three days. For a week's hire the pullman berth is the detail to hold onto: it takes an eleventh guest, so a party that does not divide neatly into couples still fits aboard.
