Together I Superyacht

An 18ft Williams DieselJet tender that carries nine and runs to 35 knots is the hardest-working piece of kit on Together I: it takes the party ashore and brings them back, and much of a nine-strong toy locker is towed behind it. She is a Sanlorenzo superyacht of 117ft (36m), delivered in June 2022, drawn outside by Zuccon International Project and fitted inside by Patricia Urquiola.

Comfort under way

Her hull is GRP and semi-displacement, driven by a pair of CAT diesels to a cruise of 14 knots and a top of 22, and her stabilisers are the zero-speed type as well as the running type, so she lies level when she is stopped and stays level when she is moving.

On deck

Together I carries a deck jacuzzi, and once she is anchored the big hatches in her sides fold down to make a swim platform of the whole stern, with an electro-hydraulic ladder into the sea and ten underwater lights beneath the hull. Her upper deck is asymmetrical: the port side deck runs stern to bow and its bulwark opens into a terrace beside the living area, the upper saloon has an opening terrace of its own and a cinema screen that drops from the ceiling, and the forward outdoor space stands on two levels that open straight from the owner's cabin. Awnings shade the cockpit, the bow of the main deck and both ends of the upper deck, so there is cover on the main and upper decks alike.

Water toys

After the tender come a Yamaha Wave Runner, two Seabobs for two riders at once, a single paddleboard, water skis, towables and a set of inflatables, the skis and towables pulled behind the tender, and fishing tackle and snorkelling gear travel with her as well, so the water around the boat can be fished and looked into rather than only ridden across.

Where she cruises

La Spezia in Italy is her home port, where she is the second longest of the nine yachts based there, and Portofino is her second base, so guests can board her at either harbour. From those two ports she works the coasts of Italy and France.

Accommodation and crew

Ten guests sleep in five ensuite cabins: a master on the main deck, two doubles amidships on the lower deck and two twins forward, and by day she can carry twelve. Sliding doors give the master its own way onto the bow, and a private gym with Technogym Kinesis equipment sits inside that cabin. Six crew look after the ten guests, and her peak season is the two months of July and August.

Charter notes

Together I suits two couples or a family whose days are planned around the sea, and for a hire of a different shape her owner also offers her for events, with up to sixty guests aboard.
