The Great Escape Superyacht

Zuccon International drew her lines and H2 Yacht Design the rooms inside them: The Great Escape is a 102ft (31m) Sanlorenzo superyacht from the yard's asymmetric series, built in 2020 for island-hopping, her interior light and contemporary in grey and white with coral accents and stained oak parquet.

Comfort under way

Her stabilisers hold her steady whether she is anchored or making way, so movement aboard stays gentle; she cruises at 12 knots and has 18 in hand.

On deck

The sun deck carries cushioned pads, lounge furniture and a table for eating in the open air. Aft on the main deck, the dining area folds into a broad sun pad, shaded by the deck above it and screened at the stern and sides by mesh panels. Glass doors retract to open the saloon onto that deck, and a starboard balcony extends out over the water.

Water toys

Six toys travel aboard – a Seadoo GTX jet ski, two paddleboards, a wakeboard, towables and snorkelling kit – and a 17ft Williams jet tender runs guests ashore.

Where she cruises

Amalfi, in Italy, is the home port of The Great Escape. Beyond Italy she reaches France, Monaco, Malta and Croatia, coasts and islands to go ashore on.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep eight. The full-beam master on the main deck has a walk-in closet, a steam shower and its own foredeck terrace; below are two VIPs, a double and a twin with a Pullman berth. A captain and three crew run her, her peak months July and August, which gives a crew member to every two guests aboard.

Charter notes

The Great Escape suits a family or friends travelling together. Twelve can be aboard for a day out and as many as forty for an event, and she takes three-day hires too, so a short spell aboard works as well as a full week.
