Parillion Superyacht
About Parillion
Parillion carries an inflatable water slide, and she runs two tenders rather than a single boat, a 45' Sacs Marine Strider as chase boat and a 20' Castoldi jet tender, so a second boat is always on hand for runs ashore. Rossinavi built her in 2014, aluminium in hull and superstructure with teak on her decks, and after a refit in 2023 she is a 158ft (48m) superyacht drawn outside by Arrabito Naval Architects and inside by Enrico Gobbi, whose crystal, glasswork and coloured mosaic run through her rooms.
On deck
Her sun deck holds a swimming pool with a waterfall, filled with fresh water or sea water, a sit-up bar, sun loungers, an observation sofa forward and an alfresco dining table under a hardtop that adjusts for shade, so a swim, a drink and a meal are all possible without leaving that deck. A deck jacuzzi gives a second place to soak, and her beach club and swim platform, with a big bathing ladder that retracts, make for a short step into the sea.
Water toys
Two Seadoo Spark jet skis and two Seabob F5s are the fast toys, with an E-foil as well, while two SUP boards and two kayaks are for paddling at an easier pace. Four tubes can be towed with four riders on them, water skis and a wakeboard join them for towing, and she carries fishing gear and snorkelling equipment. Five electric scooters come along for getting about on land.
Where she cruises
Monte Carlo in Monaco is her home port. From there Parillion cruises the coast of Monaco itself, the Mediterranean shores of France, Italy and Spain, and out to Malta, and five countries within reach means a charter can stay near her home port or cross to another coast altogether.
Accommodation and crew
Five cabins sleep ten guests, with twelve aboard by day: the full-beam master suite on the main deck has a bathroom for him and for her, a wardrobe to walk into, a study of its own with a Techno Gym treadmill and a fold-down balcony that opens the room to the sea, and the lower deck holds three doubles, each en suite, and a twin that converts. A spiral staircase dressed in Swarovski and Crystal Caviar glasswork links her three decks, and the sky lounge holds a cinema projector and a self-playing piano, so a film can be shown aboard. Ten crew look after ten guests, a crew member for each guest.
Comfort under way
She cruises at 13 knots and can make 17, her diary at its fullest in July and August, and her stabilisers work while she is moving, so a passage carries less roll.
Charter notes
Parillion suits two couples or a family of up to ten who want a lot of ways into the water and a big deck to come back to. A hire of three days is her minimum, and for a family the detail that counts is the floating pool closed off by a jellyfish net, a place to swim that jellyfish stay out of.
