Silvia Motor Yacht
About Silvia
Silvia burns 330 litres an hour at her 20-knot cruise, and a 2020 refit brought this 85ft (26m) Rizzardi motor yacht, built in 2000, up to date.
Water toys
A 17ft tender handles the runs ashore and can pull the three donuts that travel with her. A Seadoo jet ski and a Seabob F5 are aboard, along with a kayak and a paddleboard for paddling clear of the boat, and a floating island for time spent in the water. Snorkelling gear and fishing tackle come too, so there is something for looking under the surface and something for putting a line in the water.
Where she cruises
Silvia keeps her home port at Capri, in Italy, and her range also takes in Malta, which gives two coastlines to choose anchorages along rather than a single stretch of Italy.
Accommodation and crew
Four cabins each have their own bathroom: a suite, a VIP and two twin rooms. Nine guests sleep aboard and 12 can come along for a day on the water, looked after by four crew, the captain among them.
Comfort under way
She tops out at 28 knots, holding something back above the pace she settles into, and her season peaks in July and August.
On deck
The flybridge is her open-air deck, a sunpad takes up the bow, and inside the salon holds a sitting area and a dining table, so a group of this size can spread out instead of crowding into a single room. Her swim platform puts the sea a step away.
Charter notes
Silvia reads as a boat for a family or for two couples travelling together, and she can be taken for a week's charter or a three-day rental, so a short trip works as well as a long one.
