Double J Motor Yacht

Underwater lights are fitted beneath the beach club of Double J, so the sea she floats in is lit from below, and her swim platform is the step down into it. She is a 76ft (24m) Sunseeker motor yacht built in 2025.

Comfort under way

Double J's stabilisers are the zero-speed kind and they keep working while she is moving, so there is less roll whether she is lying still or covering ground. Under way she cruises at 25 knots and reaches 32 when asked, and her fuel use is 450 litres an hour.

On deck

A barbecue takes the cooking outside, a wine cooler keeps the bottles cold, and a Sonos and Fusion sound system handles the music, with Apple TV for films.

Water toys

Two paddleboards mean two guests can be standing on the water at the same time, snorkelling gear is aboard for anyone who wants to look under the surface rather than sit on top of it, and an 11ft Williams 345 SportJet tender does the runs ashore.

Where she cruises

Valletta is her home port and the coast of Malta her cruising ground, so she cruises the same waters she is berthed in, with July and August the two months at the height of her year.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight guests overnight and two crew look after them. A Miele washer and dryer means laundry is dealt with on board, and Wi-Fi keeps the party connected while she is out.

Charter notes

Double J suits a family or a group of friends who are in Malta and want a yacht of this length run for them by her crew, for a week or a three-day charter, and she is also offered for a day's hire, when twelve can be aboard, so the party for the day can be larger than the party that sleeps aboard.
