Mr Charlie Motor Yacht

Four crew, in their own pair of cabins, look after eight guests aboard Mr Charlie, a crew member for every two people on board. She is a 93ft (28m) Riva motor yacht from 2020, and the dining table in her main salon seats eight, so the whole party sits down together.

Accommodation and crew

The full-beam master suite sits on the main deck behind panoramic windows. Below are a VIP stateroom, a second double and a twin that converts to a double, each with its own bathroom, and the layout can give four double beds.

Comfort under way

Side Power stabilisers steady her under way and a zero-speed system with a pair of Seakeeper units holds her at anchor, so there is less roll moving or stopped. Mr Charlie cruises at 22 knots, tops out at 30 and burns 600 litres an hour.

On deck

The flybridge carries a helm station, a wet bar, a dining area and sun loungers in the open air, and a teppanyaki grill sits on the top deck. A sunpad lies forward, the aft deck is laid for meals outside, and the hydraulic teak swim platform makes getting into the sea easy.

Water toys

The Williams 395 tender comes out of the aft garage to run guests ashore, and two Seabob F5, two paddleboards and two canoes go over the side, with water skis, a wakeboard, towables and snorkelling gear too. Two floating platforms with ladders extend the swimming area.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Amalfi, and she cruises the coast of Italy, with July and August her peak months.

Charter notes

Mr Charlie suits a family or friends who want a week in Italy with the sea close by: her four cabins take the party overnight, and she can be hired for a day with twelve aboard, more than she sleeps.
