888 Motor Yacht
About 888
Two Seabobs travel with 888, so two guests can be out in the water at the same time, and a jet ski goes with them. She is an 85ft (26m) Riva motor yacht, built in 2006 and given a refit in 2024.
Where she cruises
Dubrovnik is her home port and Croatia her only cruising ground, which keeps a week's cruising inside a single country's waters.
Accommodation and crew
Four cabins take eight guests overnight, with a king, a queen and two twins between them, and a crew of four runs the boat and looks after the guests – a crew member for every two people aboard.
Comfort under way
Her stabilisers are the kind that work while she is moving, which means less roll at the 24 knots 888 holds as a cruise, and she has 30 knots in hand; July and August are her peak months.
On deck
A swim platform at the waterline makes getting into the sea and back out again a simple step rather than a scramble.
Water toys
Water skis, a wakeboard and a towable banana are aboard for anyone who wants to be pulled along, with a SUP board for paddling and snorkelling gear for a look below the surface; her 15ft Williams jet tender handles the runs ashore.
Charter notes
A week in Croatia aboard 888 suits a family or a group of friends, and her three-day minimum makes a shorter rental possible; twelve can be on board for a day on the water, more than sleep aboard.
