Sassy Motor Yacht

A refit in 2013 followed her 2009 build, and Sassy is a 66ft (20m) Princess motor yacht with air conditioning throughout and Wi-Fi aboard, so nobody on board has to be out of touch for a week.

Where she cruises

San Juan is Sassy's home port and Puerto Rico the ground she covers, and she is at her busiest in January, February, March and December. Guests join her and cruise within the same country, so the travelling is done before the trip begins.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight guests, two of them fitted with queen beds and two laid out with twins, so a party of eight has a proper bed each. A crew of two runs her, and by day the number aboard can rise to 12, which leaves room for friends who join only for the water.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 15 knots with 18 knots in reserve, and that trims the hours given over to moving from anchorage to anchorage.

Water toys

Snorkelling gear comes along, with water skis and towable inflatables for anyone who would rather be pulled across the surface than swim under it, and a beach tender to put guests ashore.

Charter notes

Sassy suits a family or a group of friends taking a week in Puerto Rico, and a three-day hire is offered as well; eight sleep aboard, while up to 12 can share her for a day on the water.
