Mijia Power Boat

Mijia carries two stand-up paddleboards, enough that two people can paddle off together rather than share a single board. She is a 40ft (12m) Nimbus power boat, built in 2022.

Water toys

Snorkelling gear is stowed aboard for anyone who wants to see what is under the surface, and a drone comes with her for pictures from above.

Where she cruises

Her charter ground is Thailand, and she works from her home port at Krabi, with January, February, March and December her busiest months.

Accommodation and crew

Two cabins sleep four guests overnight, while for a day on the water she takes nine, so more can be aboard by day than stay the night. A crew of one runs her.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 25 knots and has 35 knots at the top end, so stretches of coast pass quickly and the day is not spent getting somewhere.

On deck

A barbecue aboard means food cooked in the open air, air conditioning takes the heat out of the interior, and WiFi keeps anyone who needs to stay in touch connected.

Charter notes

Mijia suits two couples sharing her two cabins, and because she goes out by the half day as well as the full day, a hire can be a party of nine aboard for the hours she is out in Thailand.
