Manu X Motor Yacht
About Manu X
A refit in 2022 brought Manu X up to date, a 92ft (28m) Mangusta motor yacht from 2006 with two MTU engines on KaMeWa waterjet drive.
Comfort under way
She cruises at 25 knots and will run to 36 when asked, which keeps an anchorage further along the coast within easy reach.
On deck
The main-deck salon sets its dining table across from the sofa, and the bar area is the point where the inside and the open air meet. The wheelhouse carries on forward with a wide leather seat, and a swim platform brings guests down to the water.
Water toys
A 13ft Williams jet tender handles the trips ashore, while the Seadoo jet ski and the Seabob F5 each take a rider at a time. Two paddleboards let two people head off under their own power, and water skis, a towable donut and snorkelling gear travel with her as well.
Where she cruises
Her home port is Portofino in Italy, where she is the second longest of the seven yachts based there, and a second base in Sardinia widens what Manu X can reach; Italy and Malta are her cruising grounds.
Accommodation and crew
Four staterooms, each with its own bathroom, sleep nine – a king, a queen, two twin cabins and a pullman berth. A crew of three, a chef among them, runs her, and the cabins are air-conditioned with Wi-Fi aboard.
Charter notes
She suits two couples sharing her or a family, and the teppanyaki grill table gives her chef a grill to cook on. She is available to hire for single days and for three-day charters, her peak falling in July and August, and by day she carries twelve rather than the nine who sleep aboard, which leaves a family room to bring others along for the time on the water.
