Edel Motor Yacht

Fifteen guests can spend a day aboard Edel, against the six who stay the night, and she can be taken for a half day, for three days or for a full week.

On deck

A bimini throws shade over the deck, and the table laid outside lets the group eat in the open air. Her swim platform sits at water level, so swimmers get in and climb back out easily.

Water toys

Snorkelling gear comes with her, which is all anyone needs to look at what lies under a quiet anchorage.

Where she cruises

Manama is her home port, and she works the waters of Bahrain, her peak months falling in January, February, November and December.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins sleep six: two with double beds and one with twins. A crew of three runs her, so there is a crew member for every two guests staying aboard. The cabins are air-conditioned and Wi-Fi reaches through the yacht.

Comfort under way

A 61ft (19m) motor yacht from Majesty Yachts, built in 2007, Edel cruises at 14 knots and has 16 in hand, so a stretch of coast further along is still within reach.

Charter notes

Edel suits a family or a group of friends who want the boat to themselves in Bahrain for a week, and equally a larger party taking her on hire for a single day out. The number she can carry by day is far greater than the number of beds, so cousins, grandparents and friends ashore can all share the water without anyone needing a cabin.
