My Life Motor Yacht

Twelve guests can be aboard for a day on the water and eight stay the night, and a full refit completed in 2021 reworked this 89ft (27m) Maiora motor yacht end to end; her crew have kept My Life in immaculate order since.

Where she cruises

My Life's home port is Mergellina in Naples, Italy, and her cruising also takes in Malta, so guests have two countries of water to move between rather than Italy alone.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins hold the eight sleeping aboard: a master amidships with a king bed and a large bathroom, a VIP forward with a queen, a double, and a twin with separate beds. All four are en suite and air conditioned, with satellite television, and four crew look after the party, a crew member for every two guests.

Comfort under way

Two MTU engines give her a 24-knot cruise with 34 knots in hand, and she burns 250 litres an hour, which puts a bay further off within easy reach.

On deck

The flybridge has a dining table and a wide sunbathing area, the main-deck cockpit a dinette and a second outdoor table, and the bow a solarium; the salon, with a large sofa and its own dining table, opens onto the aft deck. The hydraulic swim platform works for sunbathing and as the easy way into the sea.

Water toys

A 12ft tender takes guests ashore, and the hire brings a Seadoo jet ski, a Seabob and a SUP board, plus inflatable floats and an anti-jellyfish floating pool. Snorkelling gear and fishing tackle are aboard as well, and July and August are her peak months.

Charter notes

My Life makes a straightforward charter for a family or a group of friends: Wi-Fi and a Bose system in the salon are aboard, and the swimming, the outdoor meals and the running of her are handled for guests.
