Happy Island Superyacht

Maiora gave Happy Island a beach club in her stern, with seating built into it, a shower and a swim platform, and a garage that opens through the side of the hull so that the tender is launched sideways and the guests are left undisturbed. She is a 100ft (31m) superyacht built in 2026, and her saloon, lit by panoramic windows, is furnished by Poltrona Frau and Cassina.

Comfort under way

Twin MAN engines give her a cruising speed of 12 knots, at which she burns 300 litres of fuel an hour, and a top speed of 19 knots for when there is distance to cover. Her CMC fin stabilisers are electric and go on working once she has stopped, so the roll at an anchorage is taken out just as it is on passage.

On deck

The flybridge measures 120 m², room enough to sunbathe, dine and entertain on a single deck, and the side decks are wide enough to walk right round her. A jacuzzi and sunbeds sit at her stern, and with a dining table outside on the main deck aft and a second on the upper deck, meals can be eaten in the open on either level.

Water toys

From the garage come a BSC tender with 40HP for runs ashore and two Seabobs, so two guests can ride at the same time, and she carries snorkelling gear for anyone who wants to see what is below the surface. For guests who ask, small gym equipment can be arranged.

Where she cruises

Happy Island has her home port at Venice and a second base at Naples, both in Italy, so a party can join her at either port, and her cruising grounds are the coasts of Italy and Croatia.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins, each with its own bathroom, sleep ten guests: a full-beam master on the main deck, two VIP doubles on the lower deck, and two twin cabins whose beds slide together into doubles, one of them with a Pullman berth as well, which is what gives her flexibility for a family or a party of friends. By day she can have twelve aboard. A crew of five, in a high season that falls in July and August, look after those ten, a crew member for every two guests.

Charter notes

Happy Island suits two couples or a family of up to ten, and her owner lets her for three-day charters as well as full weeks, so a shorter hire is possible. Cristian Cleri, her chef, cooks Italian food tailored to the party, with timing and presentation learned in demanding event settings.
