Ocean's Seven Superyacht

Vripack drew the lines of Ocean's Seven, and within them her interior is off-white and kept minimal, with Italian furnishings and Oriental artworks set against the pale surfaces. She is a 138ft (42m) Kingship superyacht, built in 2012 and refitted in 2019, and she was designed for cruising over long ranges without giving up comfort.

Accommodation and crew

Twelve guests sleep aboard in five cabins, made up of three doubles, two twins and two pullman berths, and twelve is also the most she carries by day. The master suite spans her whole beam on the main deck, and two of the remaining cabins are VIP suites, so three of the five cabins are suites.

Comfort under way

She has the range for long passages, made at a cruising speed of 12 knots with 18 knots as her top speed from twin Caterpillar diesels, and her stabilisers work both on passage and at zero speed, so there is less roll while she is moving and less again once she is lying to her anchor.

On deck

The sundeck is partially shaded and holds the deck jacuzzi, a bar, an electric barbecue and a television, so the cooking can be done up in the open air, and a swim platform brings the sea to within a step of the deck.

Water toys

A 13ft tender carries guests ashore, and she travels with a jet ski, two Seabobs, a stand-up paddleboard, kayaks and sea scooters, backed by fishing gear and diving and snorkelling equipment, which means the twelve aboard have more than a single way into the water.

Where she cruises

Nice, in France, is her home port, and from there Ocean's Seven works the Mediterranean coasts of France, Monaco and Italy, three countries of shoreline to choose between.

Charter notes

Ocean's Seven was set up as a family charter yacht, with rest, entertaining and dining in mind, and she suits a family or two couples sharing her. Her hire runs by the week, with a minimum of 3 days, and the height of her season is July and August. Nine crew run her for those twelve guests, so the party is looked after by nearly as many hands as it has members.
