Blue Mamba Motor Yacht

Fuel goes through her at 550 litres an hour, which is what a hull that cruises at 32 knots asks for. Built in 2013 and refitted in 2020, Blue Mamba is a 77ft (23m) Itama motor yacht flying the flag of Italy.

Water toys

A jet ski travels with her for a single rider, and water skis, a stand-up paddleboard and snorkelling gear cover the slower ways of being in the water; her Williams jet tender handles the trips ashore.

Where she cruises

Capri is her home port, and Italy is the whole of her cruising ground, her peak months being July and August.

Accommodation and crew

Six guests sleep aboard in three cabins – a master, a VIP and a twin – with two double beds and a pair of singles between them. A crew of two runs her, which leaves the six aboard free of the work.

Comfort under way

Blue Mamba's top end is 42 knots, so a longer stretch of coast costs less of the day.

On deck

Her swim platform gives swimmers somewhere to stand between the deck and the sea.

Charter notes

Blue Mamba can be hired for three days, which suits a family or a group of friends with a short window, and by day she has room for 12 aboard, so a wider circle can join for the hours on the water.
