Far Far Away Motor Yacht

Zero-speed stabilisers are the piece of engineering that matters most aboard Far Far Away: they hold her steady at anchor as well as under way, so there is less roll to feel through the boat. She is a 152ft (46m) motor yacht from Inace Yachts, built in 2012 and refitted in 2021.

On deck

Her swim platform gives swimmers a straightforward way into the water and, just as usefully, back out of it again.

Water toys

Two jet skis are aboard, so a pair of riders can head out together, and two paddleboards cover the slower version of the same water. A wakeboard and towables are there for anyone who likes being pulled along, snorkelling and fishing are both provided for, and a 22ft custom tender takes people ashore.

Where she cruises

Male is home port for Far Far Away, and she cruises the Maldives all year, at her busiest in December and then January, February and March. She stays within the Maldives rather than moving between regions.

Accommodation and crew

Six cabins sleep twelve guests, in a king, two doubles and three twins, and twelve can be aboard by day as well. Nine crew look after them, the cabins are air-conditioned, and Wi-Fi covers the yacht, so keeping in touch with home takes no effort.

Comfort under way

She holds 11 knots on passage, with 12 at the top, which makes her an unhurried boat rather than a fast one.

Charter notes

Two couples sharing her, or a family, is the group she is sized for, and a charter can run a full week or just three days, so a shorter hire works as readily as a long one.
