Alcor Motor Yacht

Aldo Cichero drew both Alcor's exterior and her interior, so her lines and her rooms come from a single hand: a 116ft (35m) Heesen motor yacht, built in 2000 and refitted in 2020.

Water toys

A 25ft Novurania tender takes guests ashore and tows the water-skis, the wakeboard, a kneeboard and two towable inflatables, while a Wave Runner gives a rider a machine of their own. Two paddle boards and two canoes are carried, along with a windsurfer, snorkelling gear and an inflatable sailing dinghy. Diving equipment with four tanks and a compressor comes aboard for rendezvous diving, and an inflatable swimming pool that keeps jellyfish out makes an enclosed patch of water alongside.

Where she cruises

Alcor's home port is Amalfi, in Italy, and beyond Italy she cruises France, Spain and Malta & four countries of bays and harbours to choose between rather than a single coast.

Accommodation and crew

Six staterooms take twelve guests overnight, with air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout, and six crew run her, which is a crew member for every two guests aboard.

Comfort under way

Zero-speed stabilisers steady her at anchor and a second system works under way, so there is less roll both stopped and moving. She cruises at 11 knots with 13 knots available, and fuel use sits at 160 litres an hour.

On deck

A gym with exercise equipment lets guests keep training at sea, a lift saves the stairs between decks, and the swim platform puts the water a step away.

Charter notes

Alcor suits two couples sharing her or a family filling all twelve places; her charter runs by the week, with July and August her peak months and three days the shortest hire she takes.
