Navis One Superyacht

A refit in 2022 is the most recent work done on Navis One, so the yacht a guest steps onto is the 2022 version of her rather than the boat as she was launched. She is a 153ft (47m) superyacht that Gentech built in 2018, and the only yacht from that builder on Boatcrowd.

Where she cruises

Male in the Maldives is her home port, and the Maldives are only a part of what she covers: her grounds spread over three regions rather than a single sea. In the Indian Ocean she works the Seychelles, Tanzania, Madagascar and Mauritius. Beyond it she reaches Fiji and French Polynesia in the South Pacific and Singapore in Southeast Asia, so a group choosing her is choosing a region as much as a yacht.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep fourteen guests overnight, and by day she can carry thirty, so the party aboard need not stop at the number of beds. Nine crew run her, with the turn of the year – December through to the end of March – her peak.

Comfort under way

On passage she holds 12 knots and can reach 18 when needed, which is enough to cover real distance between stops inside a day.

On deck

A jacuzzi up on deck gives the party warm water to sit in under the open sky, and a swim platform puts guests at the level of the sea, so getting in and out is a step rather than a climb.

Water toys

An 18ft Williams Jet tender takes guests ashore. Two Seadoo jet skis mean two riders at a time, there are two Seabobs as well, and four SUP boards and four kayaks let a large share of a fourteen-guest party be out on the water under their own power at the same moment. Towables are carried for anyone who would rather be pulled than paddle, and fishing and snorkelling complete the eight kinds of toy she carries.

Charter notes

Navis One suits a large family or a group of friends who want fourteen beds and room for thirty by day; her charter runs by the week or from a minimum of three days, and hire for an event takes her to fifty guests, so a guest list can run well past the fourteen who sleep aboard.
