Fly 500 Motor Yacht

Fifteen people fit aboard for a day out, a big number for a 52ft (16m) motor yacht, and day charters are what she is built around. Galeon built her in 2018, and she was refitted in 2022.

Where she cruises

Aberdeen is her home port, and she works the water around Hong Kong as well as running across to Macau, which leaves a group more than a single stretch of water to choose from.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins take six guests overnight, and two crew look after them, which on a party of six means attention is never spread thin. There is a queen bed and a pair of twins. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi are aboard, so a long day on the water stays comfortable and connected.

Comfort under way

Fly 500, at her busiest in April, May, October and November, cruises at 25 knots and will run to 34, so distance is no obstacle within the hours of a single outing.

Water toys

A 10ft RIB tender handles the trips ashore, so she can stay where she is while people go in, and a floating mat and noodles are there for the swimming.
