Boram Motor Yacht

Fishing gear travels with Boram, along with a towable tube for a faster ride behind the boat. She is an 85ft (26m) Falcon motor yacht, built in 2008 and refitted in 2022.

Where she cruises

Gocek is her home port in Turkey, and Turkey, Greece and Cyprus are the three coastlines she works, so a group picking an anchorage has a wide stretch of shore to choose from.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight guests overnight, and the beds run to a king, a double and a pair of twins. The cabins are air-conditioned and there is Wi-Fi aboard, which keeps a group in touch without going ashore, while a crew of three means the cooking, the deck and the tender are someone else's work.

Comfort under way

Boram cruises at 17 knots and runs to 25 flat out, drawing 400 litres of fuel an hour, with July and August the peak of her season.

On deck

A swim platform brings the group down to water level, which makes getting in and out of the sea easy rather than an event.

Water toys

Her 15ft Cappelli tender carries guests ashore and pulls the tube, and a SUP board and snorkelling gear take care of the slower water beside her: something to paddle on, and masks and fins for looking below the surface.

Charter notes

Boram suits a family or a group of friends who hire her together, with eight sleeping aboard and up to twelve able to come along for a day on the water, so the party can grow beyond the cabins she has.
