Ferro Motor Yacht

Stabilisers keep Ferro's roll down at anchor and under way alike, and the aluminium hull and superstructure they sit in came from Delta Yacht in 2024, with exterior lines by Notilus Yacht Design and an interior by Ferka Interior. She is an 84ft (26m) motor yacht whose oversized windows let daylight fill her open-plan saloon, so the inside of her stays bright rather than enclosed.

On deck

Outside, the flybridge has seating to lounge on, space for sunbathing and a barbecue, so meals can be cooked in the open air, and the aft deck is set for alfresco dining. An outdoor bar and a foredeck arranged as a lounge add more places to sit away from the interior, and her hydraulic swim platform lowers into the sea, so the water is a step down rather than a climb.

Water toys

Five toys go with Ferro, and the swim platform is where they go into the water: a jet ski for a rider to take out, a Seabob, a Scubajet, a stand-up paddleboard to paddle from and gear for snorkelling. A Grand tender of 6.65m with a 150hp outboard takes guests ashore.

Where she cruises

Gocek is her home port, and Turkey is where she cruises, its coast lined with bays; Fethiye, a town on that coast with beaches and ruins beneath its mountains, is within her reach, and July and August are the height of her season in Turkey.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins on the lower deck sleep eight guests: a full-beam master, a VIP and a further guest cabin all have queen beds, and the fourth is a twin, with an en-suite shower behind each door. She takes eight by day as well, and a crew of four runs her for them.

Comfort under way

Her aluminium hull is a semi-displacement form, and three Volvo Penta IPS engines drive it to 25 knots at the top and a 15-knot cruise, which means she covers the distance between bays quickly.

Charter notes

Ferro suits a family or a party of friends numbering up to eight, and she is offered for a charter of a week or of three days, so a group can hire her for a short break as well as for the full week.
