Myra Motor Sailer

Three paddleboards come aboard Myra, enough for three paddlers at once, and a floating pool goes in alongside for swimming. She is a 98ft (30m) motor sailer, built by Ege Yat in Turkey in 2003 and given a thorough refit inside, outside and through her systems in 2021.

Accommodation and crew

Six cabins sleep twelve guests, four doubles forward and two twins aft, while eighteen can come aboard for a day, and a crew of four looks after them. The salon sits in a raised deckhouse, where large brass portholes bring in daylight and a view out, and two dining tables to port seat all twelve together.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 8 knots, with 12 knots available, and uses 40 litres an hour at that cruising pace. Teak decks wrap right around her behind high rails, so walking from end to end is easy at anchor and under sail.

On deck

The aft deck holds seating, a table for eating outdoors and sunpads that face astern, with a big bimini to shade it all, and there are further sunpads forward; July and August are her peak months.

Water toys

A 13ft tender does the trips ashore. Water skis and a wakeboard go behind her for anyone who wants towing, two kayaks send a pair off under their own paddles, and snorkelling gear is aboard for looking under the surface.

Where she cruises

Myra's home port is Lefkada in Greece, and her cruising also reaches Italy, so guests can stay within Greece or point across to the Italian coast.

Charter notes

Two couples travelling together, or a family taking all six cabins, fit Myra best; each cabin has its own bathroom, and the built-in lounge and coffee table in the salon give twelve a place to sit together indoors.
