Kando Motor Yacht

A jacuzzi set out on her deck gives Kando an open-air soak with the sea all round her, and she is a 111ft (34m) motor yacht from Custom Made, built in 2020.

Accommodation and crew

Five double cabins take ten guests overnight, a double bed for each pair, and a crew of five sails with her to look after them, so whatever a guest needs, there is a crew member free to see to it.

Comfort under way

Her stabilisers hold her at anchor through a zero-speed setting and keep working while she is moving, so the guests feel less of her roll whether she is stopped or on passage. Kando makes 11 knots at cruising speed and 15 flat out, and July and August are the height of her season.

On deck

The swim platform puts guests at water level, a step rather than a climb into the sea, and a lift connects her decks, so moving between them asks nothing of the knees.

Water toys

A 13ft tender carries the party ashore, and Kando keeps fishing tackle and snorkelling gear aboard as well, so a line over the side and a mask in the water are both hers to offer rather than something to arrange elsewhere.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Bodrum, in Turkey, and her grounds take in Turkey, Greece and Cyprus, three Mediterranean coastlines with their own harbours and anchorages to choose between for a yacht charter aboard her.

Charter notes

A week's rental of Kando suits a family or couples travelling together, and although she sleeps ten she has room for twelve by day, so the party on the water can be larger than the party that stays the night.
