Eclipse Superyacht

Five crew run Eclipse for no more than ten guests, a crew member for every two people aboard, and the interior they keep is Frank Reynaud's work. She is a 114ft (35m) Couach superyacht, built in 2005 and refitted in 2020.

Where she cruises

Simpson Bay on St Martin is her home port, and she cruises the coasts of St Martin itself along with St Barths and Anguilla. Antigua and Barbuda, St Lucia and the Grenadines are also within her range, so a group has more than a single destination open to them.

Accommodation and crew

Ten guests sleep aboard in five cabins, a queen bed in each, and sixteen can be on board by day.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 23 knots with 33 available, burning 568 litres an hour, so the distance between anchorages goes by quickly.

On deck

The jacuzzi on deck is open to the sky, and a swim platform gives swimmers a low, easy way in and out of the water; demand for her is highest in December and from January through March.

Water toys

Eclipse carries a 35ft Boston Whaler tender for trips ashore, and eight toys travel with her: a Seadoo jet ski, two SUP boards so a pair can paddle at the same time, a kayak, a towable tube, inflatables, and gear for fishing and snorkelling.

Charter notes

A charter runs by the week, and she can also be hired for an event with as many as 35 on board; taken for the week, Eclipse gives two couples travelling together or a family the run of the whole boat.
