About Eternity

A FunAir water slide runs from Eternity's bridge deck down to the waterline, so the drop into the sea starts at bridge-deck height rather than at the rail. She is a Codecasa superyacht of 213ft (65m), built in 2010 and refitted in 2023, with a steel hull under an aluminium superstructure and an interior by Della Role Design.

Comfort under way

Her hull is a displacement form, and twin Caterpillar diesels give her a 14-knot cruise and 17 knots at her maximum. Zero-speed stabilisers work while she lies at anchor, so the roll that can unsettle an overnight stop is taken out of her.

On deck

A jacuzzi is set into her deck, and with a deck bar and a sun deck she has somewhere to soak, somewhere to drink and somewhere to lie out. There is a dining area on the main deck and a separate dining room, which gives a meal two settings to choose between, and a swim platform puts the sea at step-down height. A gym on board keeps a training routine going through the week.

Water toys

Two Castoldi jet-drive tenders come with her, a 25ft boat and a 16ft boat, so two groups can head ashore at once. Two Wave Runners take two riders at a time, and Seabobs, inflatable paddleboards and inflatable kayaks all come in pairs, each pair enough for two to go out together. At anchor a floating lagoon pool, a water trampoline, an inflatable climbing wall with its own slide and floating mats go into the water and turn the sea around her into somewhere to stay in rather than swim through. Waterskis, a wakeboard and a banana boat are there for the towed kind of riding, and a barbecue set-up goes ashore with the beach toys for a meal on the sand.

Where she cruises

Eternity's home port is Eleuthera in the Bahamas, where she is the longest of the 16 yachts based there. She works the Bahamas and the USA, Turks and Caicos, Anguilla, St Martin and Antigua and Barbuda. St Barths, the Grenadines and the US and British Virgin Islands are within her range as well, a spread of islands, each with its own beaches and anchorages.

Accommodation and crew

Seven cabins sleep twelve guests, with her season at its height from December through to March, and the same twelve is her limit by day. The master stateroom has its own office, and the rest are four doubles and two twins. Seventeen crew look after those twelve, so there are more people working the boat than staying on it.

Charter notes

Eternity suits two couples or a family, and a week's charter is the way she is hired, with a season that runs year-round. A lift runs between her decks, so anyone in the party who would rather not take the stairs does not have to.
