About Vervece

Vervece started life as a tug, steel-built, and she still carries that hull; she uses 150 litres of fuel an hour under way. Benetti built her in 1964, and a full refit in 2021 turned her into the 98ft (30m) motor yacht she is now, the original working character left in place.

Where she cruises

Vervece keeps her home port at Capri and cruises the coast of Italy, with Gaeta and Naples in her waters; July and August are her busiest months in Italy.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep ten guests, twelve can be aboard for a day on the water, and a crew of six looks after them. The full-beam master stateroom has a sofa, a dressing table and a double wardrobe, the VIP suite adds an anteroom with a small study and two separate showers, and the cabins have their own bathrooms.

Comfort under way

Her origins show at sea, a hull built for seakeeping rather than speed, and she cruises at 11 knots with 14 knots available.

On deck

Outdoor space runs across all her decks, with al fresco dining, lounge seating, sunbeds and a bar area, so a group of this size can spread out. A quiet room beside the wheelhouse holds a desk, a bookshelf and a sofa, and the upper deck carries an awning-covered dining table and sundeck chairs.

Water toys

A 13ft Lomac tender handles the trips ashore, a Seadoo jet ski puts a rider on the water, and water skis, a wakeboard, a banana and a donut are there to be towed. Two kayaks take two paddlers, and there is a SUP board, snorkelling gear and an inflatable platform alongside.

Charter notes

Vervece suits two couples travelling together or a family: a crewed charter where air conditioning runs right through the interior and Wi-Fi is aboard, so the days spent on board stay comfortable and connected.
