Fortitude 1 Superyacht

The owner's suite on Fortitude 1 takes the full beam of the main deck and has an office of its own, and her beach club doubles as her gym, with free weights, a multi gym, a training bench, an upright bike and yoga mats set where the water is a step away. Giorgio M. Cassetta drew both the exterior and the interior of this 145ft (44m) Benetti superyacht, delivered in 2025, pairing white marble and a pale palette with floor-to-ceiling glass so the rooms stay bright.

Water toys

A 35ft Water Ghost tender runs guests ashore, and the toys Fortitude 1 carries start with the fast ones: two Yamaha jet skis for a pair of riders, two Seabobs and an e-foil, with water skis, a wakeboard and towables for anyone who wants to be pulled behind a boat. Two paddleboards and two kayaks move a guest across a bay under their own power, an inflatable platform gives swimmers something to climb out onto, and snorkelling gear goes into the water with them.

Where she cruises

St Tropez in France is her home port, and her charter waters cover France, Monaco and Italy. On the French coast that means sand at Pampelonne beach, an anchorage off Cap d'Antibes, villages ashore at Beaulieu-sur-Mer and Eze, and Monaco itself. Corsica adds the medieval town of Bonifacio and the Lavezzi archipelago, a nature reserve whose beaches are barely touched. In Italy there is Portofino harbour, the five villages of the Cinque Terre and the sandy beaches of Cala di Volpe in Sardinia.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins take ten guests to bed, with a king in the master, doubles in two lower-deck VIP cabins, a cabin made up as either twin or double, and a twin that also carries a pullman berth. Nine crew sail with her, so a party of ten is looked after by a team nearly its own size.

Comfort under way

Her stabilisers work at zero speed as well as under way, keeping the roll down at anchor and on passage alike, and she cruises at 14 knots with 15 knots as her top speed. Starlink backs up the Wi-Fi, so the internet holds away from the shore.

On deck

The jacuzzi is on the foredeck, with sun pads and a seating area around it, and the sky lounge pairs its bar with windows on every side. Aft on the bridge deck an exterior dining table means a meal can be taken in the open, and the sun deck carries seating both forward and aft.

Charter notes

Fortitude 1 suits two couples as well as a family, and she is offered for hire by the full week or for three days, her peak falling in July and August. Twelve can be aboard by day, so a party of ten sleeping aboard has room for two more to join them on the water.
