Ink Superyacht

The lower deck of Ink is given over to a beach area, so the yacht meets the sea at water level rather than from a deck above it, and her main deck holds a saloon that includes the dining area. She is a 144ft (44m) Benetti superyacht built in GRP, launched in 2020 and refitted in 2023, her exterior drawn by Giorgio M. Cassetta and her interior by the builder's own style department.

Water toys

A jet ski gives a single rider speed on the water, a stand-up paddleboard and a kayak are there for moving at a slower pace, and fishing and snorkelling gear rounds out six toys in all. A 13ft tender carries guests ashore and back.

Where she cruises

Nice, in France, is her home port, and her cruising grounds take in France, Monaco and Italy, so a week's hire aboard Ink can move between three countries.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep ten guests, in a king, two doubles and two twins, and by day she has room for twelve. Seven crew live aboard in five cabins of their own – Ink's peak months are July and August – and look after at most ten guests, which means seven pairs of hands for ten people.

Comfort under way

Fin stabilisers steady her both when she is moving and when she lies at anchor, so the roll is cut whether the engines are turning or not. Two MAN diesels bring her to 14 knots at cruising speed and 22 knots flat out, and a bow thruster helps the crew handle her in harbour.

On deck

A deck jacuzzi puts warm water in the open air, the upper deck has space to use both at the bow and aft, and a sun deck adds a further level given over to the sun. At the waterline a swim platform lets guests step straight into the sea without a ladder or a tender.

Charter notes

Ink suits two couples, or a family of up to ten, for a crewed charter by the week. Her master cabin is on the main deck and her VIP cabin on the lower deck, so two couples each take a principal cabin on a separate deck.
