Maverick Superyacht

A 2025 Technohull Alpha 50 chase boat travels with Maverick, and with twin Volvo Penta engines that push it past 50 knots, an air-conditioned cabin, a toilet, a shower and sunpads of its own, it is built for quick transfers along a coast. She herself is a Benetti, a 133ft (40m) superyacht launched in 2023 with a beach-house interior by Bonetti / Kozerski Architecture DPC.

Where she cruises

Her home port is St Tropez in France, and her grounds take in Monaco, France, Italy and Spain, four Mediterranean coastlines to pick a harbour or an anchorage from.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep ten guests. The full-beam master on the main deck has a king bed, a fold-down balcony of its own, a walk-in dressing room and his-and-hers bathrooms joined through a central marble shower, while the lower deck holds two VIP cabins with queen beds and two twin cabins whose beds slide together into doubles. By day she can take twelve, two more than sleep aboard.

Comfort under way

Under way Maverick cruises at 12 knots and reaches 16, her season peaks in July and August, and floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors keep the coast in sight from the main salon as she moves.

On deck

Her aft deck is where the design shows most: an infinity pool looks straight out over the stern, and wings fold out to either side to widen the terrace into a lounge at sea level with a large table and seating, so the beach club is a place to sit and eat with the water at hand. The sky lounge on the upper deck opens to an outdoor cinema, the main deck carries a Technogym-equipped gym, and the sun deck has a bar, loungers and a dining area for meals in the open air. A deck jacuzzi is there to warm up in, and a deck shower to rinse the salt off.

Water toys

A Williams 445 Dieseljet tender handles the runs ashore. Two Audi electric foil boards and two electric sea scooters put two riders on each at a time, four paddleboards and two inflatable kayaks let more of the party move under their own power, and water skis, a wakeboard and a double towable tube are there for anyone who would rather be pulled. A 12ft inflatable trampoline goes in the water alongside two Nautibuoy platforms to sunbathe on and lay the toys out from, and she carries masks and snorkels, fishing gear, a golf mat with clubs and floating balls to drive into the sea, and beach volleyball and beach tennis sets for the shore.

Charter notes

Maverick suits two couples, with a king master and two queen VIPs to choose from, and a family, for whom the twin cabins stay as twins or become doubles as the party needs. She is offered by the week as a charter and for shorter stays, and the hire brings ten crew to look after ten guests – a crew member for each of them for the whole of the stay.
